Sth Road Service Station

This is all that is left of the South Road Service Station. It has been demolished to make way for an upgraded version, with talk of a sit down restaurant.

New Buildings Hawera

Well McDonalds is started after 6 or 7 years of talking about it.I took this photo from the Hawera side of Collins St and Sth Rd.They hope to have it up and running by Feb next year.

Sat 21st July 2007 10am Grey skies but egmont shows herself for the first time in days

Street lights and car lights with Egmont as a back drop,as darkness descends over Hawera.

Egmont stands out in the night sky, as night falls over Taranaki.

An umbrella of cloud covers Mt Egmont.This was the first time we had seen the mountain for a few days. It looked very strange with this cloud hovering over it.

Mt Egmont shows off her new winter coat as she rises above the Taranaki countryside. I am going to be putting new photos on here as she changes her coats with each new cold blast..Watch this space..
